Bird Watching Diary - 20160304

20160304
My son told me yesterday that a Bird Watching Diary is well and good but I need to include pics with my identifications and observations.  So until I receive my digital camera binoculars I will use my cell phone.  So from now on I will include pics.
Identified at 10:30 a Blue Jay flying between trees in my back yard and neighboring trees.  Squawking a lot making a lot of noise.  The Blue Jay seemed to be chasing other birds away from their perches. The Blue Jay chased away a Northern Mocking Bird that was perched in the scraggly vine ridden tree behind the neighbor’s garage to the W of my back yard.  Robins were on the ground in my back yard and they seemed un-phased.
Identified at 13:30 a White-Throated Sparrow rustling around in the trees on the E side of the house. (See Image Below) Non-Binocular Viewing.
Identified at 14:00 a Robin plucking for food NE side of back deck. (See Images Below) Non-Binocular Viewing.

Identified at 14:30 a group of Common Ravens in the back yard. (See Images Below)
(Prevalent birds viewed:
American Tree Sparrow
Field Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
Northern Mockingbird
Cardinal
Robin
Mourning Dove
Blue Jay)
